Bigelow Cooperative Daycare Center is a thriving early education and care program with a remarkable history of educating young children for nearly 30 years. We are now on the cusp of an exciting transition and will be moving to a new site within the next year. We launched the New Home Campaign this spring to raise the funds needed to secure this new site and make the improvements necessary to create a new home where Bigelow can continue to flourish and grow.
Bigelow Cooperative Daycare Center is committed to providing a positive, nurturing environment for children with an emphasis on anti-bias, play-based curriculum. Started by parents as a community play group in 1983, Bigelow maintains its cooperative culture with parents helping in the classrooms and serving on parent committees and on the board. The parent involvements as well as the staff's dedication to working with children and their families help create a community that cares for each other, and in which all children can blossom. Parents seeking high-quality early education experiences for their children find more than a pre-school at Bigelow; they find an extended family.
We are so excited to be planning our move to a larger facility that will meet the growing needs of both our parent community and our staff. We can finally realize dreams of expanding the program to include infant care, as well having a dedicated indoor play space. But current funds will not fully meet the financial need to make our dreams come true. The New Home Campaign is crucial to complete the funding for Bigelow's big move.
By reaching our goal of $100,000, we will have the money to lease a new site; build out the facility to meet the school's needs, and transition smoothly to our new home. The need is urgent as the move and transition are right around the corner. Won't you help us reach our goal? Please consider giving to the New Home Campaign today!
